Dead, really dead, Safeway on 82nd street. I wonder which lucky person owns the hanging signs that number and describe what’s on each aisle.

I shot with a 4×5 camera today for the first time. It actually came with a black cloth to put over my head, which helps you focus. It was disappointing not having the big stick that holds the flash powder. Then I could have run around in an undercranked fashion only temporarily pausing to comb more wax into my mustache. Mostly, though, I thought, this is why most dudes with big cameras take those boring landscape photos in national parks, cause I am such a target for harrassment in this bulky state. Actually, I only got yelled at by a homeless lady once in front of my house who indignantly told me, ‘homeless are people too,’ which was weird since I was really nice to her and moved out of the way.

I bought the Moonlighting season one and two that came out this week. Finally! All Jeremy’s letters to Cybil Shephard have paid off. It’s worth it just for those sad opening credits alone, though the first few episodes seem kind of forced and unfunny and play like an episode of Hunter. It’s also nice that they just slapped this show onto dvd and didn’t try to re-color correct it or anything. It has that blue-cast grainy look of a mid 80s ABC TV show. You’ll remember it when you see it.
So will somebody please buy me this?
