Ugh, my Halloween was lame. Maybe I’m getting too old for this stuff. The whole week that led up to it was so full of real death that the fun kiddie death of Halloween seemed kind of vastly inappropriate. Still, I loved Jenny’s costume and took about a thousand pictures of people holding up that fake license to their heads. I always thought my friend Josh’s Oedipus costume (a pair of sunglasses with fake blood dripping from the eyes) was the height of non-committal last minute ideas. But the driver’s license takes this to new heights.

BG representing! Too bad I didn’t get a better picture of her shirt, which looked great.

Stephen recycled that disturbing baby costume, which I think is creepier from the back.

Being at a party like this sans costume feels like showing up at school the day of the science fair and completely forgetting to make anything. I have no regrets except that I didn’t get a picture of the guy who was a sock monkey. Now that was nightmare material. Did you get one of him, Katherine?

Also: Jeremy was playing the Troggs this morning and it got us talking about why (oh why!?!) isn’t there a complete comprehensive Troggs boxset on the market? Rhino, why are you sleeping?
