I was feeling all Donner Party today, since it was the second day that my car was snowed in (there was a deep sheet of solid ice it couldn’t back up over and I couldn’t roll over it). But I was starting to feel like my shut in situation was a little over dramatic, since both Katherine and Jeremy went to work and Jenny went on a sledding date. So I walked the couple of blocks to the grocery store. I love it when there’s that thin layer of ice over a heavy snowfall, kinda like you’re walking on a giant creme brulee.
